Job summary

Telecare Corporation in San Diego is seeking a Case Manager Substance Use Counselor Certified to support individuals with mental illness and addictions, helping them live as independently as possible in their community.

The role requires CADC/CATC/SUDCC/SUDCC II/III/IV credentials, six months in addictions settings, and a full-time schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Salary ranges from $26.46 to $32.69 per hour, with geographic differentials based on location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and CADC/CATC/SUDCC/SUDCC II/III/IV, or CDP in WA (wa) or LISAC/LASAC/LSAT equivalents in AZ.
• Six months' experience in addictions setting.
• All certifications must be maintained for duration of employment.
• Within two months of employment, ability to apply billing requirements and learn billing codes.
• Sensitivity to multi-cultural populations and issues; credentialed as a qualified mental health professional where applicable.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be CPR, First Aid, and CPI certified (hands-on) on date of employment and maintain current certification.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary support and case manager for individuals with mental illness, focusing on substance abuse and addictions.
• Coordinate services to help clients live as independently as possible in their chosen community.
