Responsibilities

* $15,000 Bonus Available for Full Time! *

Responsible for the quality and resource management of all patients admitted to the facility, from admission through the continuum of healthcare management. Acts as an advocate, promoting cost containment and demonstrating leadership to integrate healthcare providers for seamless care delivery. Conducts holistic and comprehensive reviews of medical records to assess medical necessity, service intensity, and severity of illness, ensuring quality, clinical, and cost-effective outcomes.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• Starting April 1, 2015: Minimum 5 years of work experience post-graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current state Registered Nurse license.
• Grandfathered prior to April 1, 2015: Minimum 5 years post-graduate from an accredited school of Social Work for Licensed Clinical Social Worker. RN Case Manager preferred.
• Five years of acute care nursing experience preferred, with at least one year in case management, discharge planning, or nursing management.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification, preferred.
• Knowledge of Milliman and InterQual Criteria preferred.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills required.
• Behavioral Violence Prevention Training within 3 months of hire, with ongoing maintenance.
