Job summary

Shegerian & Associates in San Diego, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Case Manager to keep our legal operations running smoothly, track deadlines, coordinate attorney schedules, and support clients and attorneys.

You will organize case blueprints, monitor motions and trials, manage client communications, and help ensure timely collaboration across teams, with flexible hours to support litigation deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Attend attorney meetings, capture decisions, action items, and deadlines.
• Maintain and update case blueprints and case management tracker to reflect status.
• Monitor critical deadlines such as Statute of Limitations, Motions for Summary Judgment, and Arbitrations.
• Review Trial Matrix and send pre-trial reminders to attorneys.
• Track case progress and report updates during monthly team meetings.
• Ensure client introductions are completed and maintain client communication schedules.
• Coordinate reassignment communications and follow-ups with non-responsive clients.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and identify attorney coverage when colleagues are in trial.

About the Role

As a Case Manager, you'll play a critical role in keeping our legal operations running smoothly. From tracking high-stakes deadlines to coordinating attorney schedules and ensuring clients and attorneys feel supported, you'll be at the center of it all. What You'll Do

Keep Cases Moving

• Attend attorney meetings, capture key decisions, action items, and deadlines
• Maintain and update case blueprints and case management tracker to reflect current case status
• Monitor critical deadlines — including Statute of Limitations, Motions for Summary Judgment, and Arbitrations, etc.
• Review the Trial Matrix and proactively send pre-trial reminders to managing attorneys and handling attorneys.
• Track case progress and report updates during monthly team meetings

Support Client Relationships

• Ensuring client introductions are completed,
• Maintaining communication schedules with clients
• Coordinating reassignment communications,
• Handling non-responsive client follow-ups,
• And overall helping facilitate attorney-client communication flow.

Coordinate Scheduling & Coverage

• Resolve scheduling conflicts in coordination with managing attorneys
• Identify attorney coverage when colleagues are in trial
• Monitor team communications to ensure scheduling needs are addressed quickly

• Hourly pay: $25-$27 BOE
