Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Case Manager II to focus on families at our shelter. The role involves assessment, referrals, documentation, and coordinating services to help residents progress toward self-sufficiency.

Qualified candidates have an associate degree in human services (bachelor’s preferred) and at least one year of case management experience, with strong communication and organizational skills.ensburg This position is full-time and non-exempt, with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in human services or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of one year in Case Management or related field.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform resident intake assessment to obtain personal history.
• Refer residents to relevant resources and agencies.
• Maintain accurate case notes for each resident.
• Follow center policies and procedures.
• Meet with families weekly for updates and guidance.
• Distribute supplies and belongings to clients.
• Maintain records and grant-related documentation.
• Participate in training as required.
