Region Ten CSB seeks a dedicated Case Manager for Early Intervention to support infants and toddlers (birth to 3) in Charlottesville and surrounding counties. You will coordinate eligibility, serve as the primary contact for families, and connect them with services and rights under IDEA Part C, collaborating with parents, schools, therapists and other professionals.
Strong knowledge of child development, family-centered practice, and capacity-building strategies is essential.

Join a fast paced baby’s team and coordinate special education supports and services to infants and toddlers (birth to 3). The position requires knowledge of infant/child development; effective working relationships with parents, schools, therapists & other professionals. Organizational skills, attention to detail & timelines are a must. Willingness to travel, meet in homes & other community settings.

The Early Intervention Case Manager/Service Coordinator makes initial contact with families; coordinates and facilitates the eligibility determination process; and serves as the single point of contact for families while providing case management services to assist and enable an infant or toddler with a delay or disability and the child’s family to receive the services and rights required under Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The case manager/service coordinator supports a family’s capacity to care for their child and promote his or her development. They support parents/caregivers by emphasizing the strengths of the family and by identifying strategies to build their capacity for resiliency, which can influence mental health outcomes for both a child and caregiver and change the trajectory of the child and his or her family.
In addition to possessing strong interpersonal skills, the incumbent must have a genuine belief in the rights, dignity, and value of persons with or at risk of disabilities.
Grade 9: $21.02 - $31.53 per hour
