Job summary

Keeton Corrections is seeking a Case Manager to oversee the programmatic component of the facility, implementing and maintaining approved policies and programs. You will initiate IPP and OPP plans, conduct reviews, and bi-weekly assessments to ensure program integrity.

You will complete intake paperwork, assess needs, help residents meet goals, and maintain rigorous case-file documentation. You’ll coordinate with authorities, train volunteers, and participate in disciplinary processes when

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in social, human services, criminal justice or behavioral science from an accredited college or university.
• Total work experience needed in lieu of education and experience is five years.
• One year of experience in human services, corrections, or community-based services is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete intake paperwork with residents, assess needs, provide program orientation and life skills.
• Help residents meet goals outlined in the program plan.
• Review program activities and document changes in the resident file chronologically.
• Disseminate emergency procedures to staff and residents.
• Assist in developing and maintaining cooperative agreements with governments, groups and businesses.
• Investigate staff and resident grievances with Director approval and make recommendations.
• Participate in professional/correctional organizations to stay informed on developments.
• Attend community meetings and handle corresponding communications.
• Maintain development and upkeep of resident case files.
• Complete paperwork such as terminations, parole plans, home confinement plans and furloughs.
• Supervise, orient and train volunteers/interns, including job responsibilities and schedules.
• Supervise resident subsistence collection and report it properly.
• Document disciplinary actions and participate in the disciplinary process.
