Job summary

CoreCivic is seeking a Case Manager to provide case management, classification, and transitional services to inmates/residents in an institutional setting. The role involves intake activities, direct casework for social involvement and health needs, and preparing reports and presentations for assigned individuals.

The position also coordinates programming and resources for social development and transition, with the Unit Manager acting as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in case management preferred; may substitute for edu.
• Must communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Minimum age: 18 years.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the intake process by collecting, organizing, and analyzing information about individuals.
• Provide direct casework services for social involvement, health needs, and community life to inmates/residents.
• Prepare and collaborate on reports and develop case presentations for assigned inmates/residents.
• Coordinate services for social development and transition or release into the community.
• Serve as point of contact in absence of the Unit Manager, when applicable.
