Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center is seeking a Case Manager for Child and Family Services in Lawrence, KS. The role focuses on case management, resource coordination, crisis intervention, and outreach to youth and families across varied settings.

Responsibilities include coordinating services with community agencies, providing transportation, and responding to crises. Evening and weekend hours are required to meet client needs, with a strong emphasis on attendance and teamwork.

Competenze

• BA/BS degree or four years of equivalent education and/or experience in human services field.
• Reliable transportation and automobile insurance; valid, unrestricted driver's license.
• Prior computer experience and basic computer fluency.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with diverse publics, consumers, and referral agents.
• Flexibility in assigned working hours.
• Commitment to interdisciplinary and community mental health center approaches.
• Energetic and positive approach to evolving changes and challenges in a complex workplace.

Case Manager - Child and Family Services

Pay is commensurate with experience within a range of $20.00 to $27.86 per hour. Full time, non-exempt, benefits eligible. Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of the Child & Family Services Case Manager will be case management services, resource acquisition, crisis intervention, and outreach activities to specified youth and their families. Specific duties include but not limited to:

• providing case management services, resource acquisition, crisis intervention, outreach activities and coordinate these services with other community health and social service agencies;
• delivering services in a variety of locations, including but not limited to the client's home, the school, the Child & Family Services program site, or another community setting, on an as-needed basis;
• providing transportation to and from various activities or appointments as indicated by the treatment plan or as instructed by the QMHP;
• providing services on an as-needed basis both with respect to time-of-day and location;
• delivering reimbursable hours of service compliant with established standards;
• responding to crises while on call in rotation with other similarly trained staff.

Qualifications: The Child & Family Services Case Manager position requires but not limited to:

• a BA/BS degree or four years of equivalent education and/or experience working in the human services field.
• reliable transportation and automobile insurance; and a valid, unrestricted driver's license;
• prior computer experience and basic computer fluency;
• demonstrated strong interpersonal skills in working with diverse publics, consumers, and referral agents;
• flexibility in assigned working hours;
• a commitment to interdisciplinary and community mental health center approaches; and
• an energetic and positive approach to the rapidly evolving changes and challenges of a complex workplace.
