Job summary

EAC Network is seeking a dedicated full-time Case Manager for the Brooklyn Treatment Alternatives for Safer Communities Program. The role includes court liaison, assessment, referrals, and monitoring of clients in the criminal justice system, with cognitive behavioral therapy and HIV/Hepatitis testing resources.

The position offers a competitive hourly salary of $28 and a Monday–Friday 9AM–5PM schedule, located at 175 Remsen Street, 5th Floor, Brooklyn, NY.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a helping profession.
• At least 2 years of experience in intervention programs with criminal justice–involved participants. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficiency with computer applications (Microsoft Office, calendar, email, database software).
• Experience or exposure to health education groups or CBT interventions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with courts; assess clients and arrange appropriate treatment programs.
• Complete follow-up paperwork and maintain client records for funders.
• Prepare and present written status reports to the criminal justice system.
• Investigate and arrange supportive services for clients.
• Escort clients to appointments and treatment facilities as needed.
• Maintain a caseload of offenders and conduct monthly site visits to treatment agencies.
• Conduct drug testing as required and provide CBT interventions and referrals for HIV/Hepatitis testing.
