School-Based Mental Health Specialist

Location: Western Brown, Russelville, Hammersville, Eastern School District, and Georgetown School District.

Required Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related degree

License Preferred: LSW/CDCA

Schedule: Initially 22 hours/week paid hourly until the school year starts. Full-time hours once case load builds up.

Salary: $40,000 ($19.23/hr)

Description: The School Based Mental Health Specialist provides mental health case management and prevention services to children and families. The specialist develops connections with principals, teachers, students, and parents to foster rapport and deliver quality services.

• Provide individual and group behavioral health and SUD services for youth.
• Services are provided in schools, with occasional visits in homes and community settings.
• Create and maintain Individual Treatment Plans with clients and their families.
• Link clients with community resources and collaborate with school or community professionals.
