Job Summary
  • To provide supportive services to agency staff.
Essential Job Functions
  • Supervision of visitation between parents and children and of children during court hearings.
  • Coordination and transportation of clients to necessary appointments.
  • Delivery of subpoenas.
  • Manage the Agency Substance Abuse Testing Program.
  • Maintain agency emergency clothing bank.
  • Collaborates with staff members and providers for emergency clothing requests.
  • Coordination of all community donations.
  • Maintains cleanliness of visitation rooms.
  • Assures Agency car seats meet current safety standards.
  • Acquisition of birth certificates and social security cards.
  • May attend Foundations training series.
  • Attend training regarding substance abuse testing as needed.
  • Performs other job-related work as required.

Minimum Requirements to Perform the Work
  • Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License.
  • Must have successfully completed a Child Abuse History Clearance from the Department of Human Services (child abuse); a Report of Criminal History from the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP); and a Fingerprint-based Federal Criminal History submitted through the Pennsylvania State Police or its authorized agent.
Education
  • Graduation from high school or its equivalency
Work Experience
  • 2 years of experience in public contact work in a human service agency or an associate’s degree in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences or any equivalent combination of experience and training.

  • Meet the minimum experience and training for the job
  • Meritorious service: defined as the absence of any discipline above the level of written reprimand during the 12 months preceding the closing date of the posting
