Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an experienced Facilities Technician E – Cascade HVAC/R to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on cascade refrigeration systems, test chambers, ovens, and HVAC units across the campus.

The role requires reading blueprints, calibrating devices, and installing system controllers. First shift with 4x10s; some overtime may be needed. OSHA safety practices and ability to obtain US security clearance are desired.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of experience or an Associate degree with 6+ years of related experience.
• Journeyman/Master license and EPA refrigerant handling credentials are preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints, layouts, wiring diagrams, and specifications is important.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance of HVAC/R systems, cascades, test chambers, and ovens.
• Calibrate temperature chambers and ovens; adjust PID loops as needed.
• Install and program system controllers for Watlow F4T, Solutions Plus, Thermotron, and similar equipment.
• Read blueprints, sketches, layouts, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
