Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Facilities Technician E – Cascade HVAC/R at our Cincinnati campus. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, repairs, and calibration of cascade refrigeration systems, temperature chambers, ovens, and related HVAC units across the site.

The ideal candidate will read blueprints, perform system controller upgrades, and conduct routine inspections. The position requires the ability to lift 50 pounds, work in varied temperatures, and may require occasional

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience OR 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 6 years of prior related experience.
Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance is required or preferred for the role.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance of HVAC/R systems and cascade systems, environmental test chambers, and ovens.
Calibrate temperature chambers and ovens, adjusting PID loops as necessary.
Install and maintain piping relative to facility HVAC/R processes.
Conduct routine or special inspections to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
Install and program system controllers for Watlow F4T, Solutions Plus, Thermotron, Envirotronics/Weiss Technik, ESPEC, etc.
