Job summary

StartCare, Inc. invites applications for a CASAC Counselor in our Brooklyn outpatient program. You will engage patients in initial and ongoing treatment, perform intake assessments, and coordinate services across disciplines while maintaining confidential records.

Requires CASAC, Bachelor’s in Human Services, and strong communication. Schedule is Monday–Friday 6:30 AM–2:30 PM with one Saturday per month; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services and CASAC credential required.
• Experience delivering treatment in substance use disorders settings.
• Ability to document case notes and treatment plans clearly.

Responsibilities

• Hold regular sessions with patients on caseload to address needs and goals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for treatment planning.
• Serve as Case Manager coordinating services and referrals.
• Conduct therapy groups and maintain patient records accurately.
• Meet productivity metrics and participate in supervision.
