You will lead monthly closes, prepare GAAP financials, tailor chart-of-accounts, and collaborate with Tax and Fractional CFO teams to optimize cash flow and KPIs using QuickBooks Online, Karbon, and analytics tools.

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a relationship-driven, tech-forward CAS Senior based on site in our Greenville, SC office (minimum 3 days on site per week). This role is designed for a professional who thrives on personal client interaction, understanding operational challenges, and interpreting financial data to give business owners true clarity. You will partner directly with the Greenville Office Lead and CAS practice leadership to deliver a high-touch experience that seamlessly bridges into Fractional CFO advisory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Relationship-Driven Advisory: Act as the primary, trusted accounting advisor for a dedicated roster of business clients, holding regular consultative check-ins rather than merely delivering historical data.
Full-Cycle Accounting Leadership: Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes, including complex balance sheet reconciliations, payroll entries, sales tax filings, and accrual-basis adjustments.
Financial Package Preparation & Review: Prepare and review accurate, GAAP-aligned financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Statement of Cash Flows) alongside customized KPI insights to support sound executive decisions.
Client Runways & Concierge Onboarding: Guide smooth, high-touch onboarding for new clients, tailoring chart-of-accounts setups and integrating standard operating workflows.
Ecosystem Automation: Harness the full capabilities of QuickBooks Online alongside integrated reporting platforms (such as Fathom Analytics, LivePlan, and Jirav) to eliminate manual bottlenecks and enhance transparency. Practice Workflow Management: Organize client tasks, recurring deliverables, and secure communications through our Karbon practice management platform.
Cross-Practice Synergy: Collaborate closely with our Tax and Fractional CFO teams to ensure accounting records proactively optimize tax minimization strategies and protect client capital.
Client Responsiveness: Maintain high communication standards, honoring our firm-wide 24-hour response commitment and keeping cameras on for virtual client sessions.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Credentials: Active CPA or EA, or actively pursuing a CPA or EA designation. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
