Job summary
Swink Coplen & Company, P.C. is seeking a motivated CAS Associate to join our Client Accounting Services team. This entry-level role focuses on bookkeeping, monthly close, and cloud accounting technology for a portfolio of clients.
You will work under supervision to produce accurate, timely close tasks, gain hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online, and grow your technical foundation in cloud accounting and data hygiene while supporting advisory-driven reporting.
Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; equivalent bookkeeping experience considered.
- Prior bookkeeping coursework or internship is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online or similar cloud accounting platforms is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Performs day-to-day bookkeeping for an assigned client portfolio, including transaction categorization and reconciliations.
- Processes payments and vendor bills and supports basic payroll coordination under supervision.
- Uses document capture and workflow tools to organize source documents and maintain audit-ready records.
