Job summary

Abipcpa, a growing San Antonio CPA firm, seeks a detail-oriented Client Accounting Services Assistant to support daily bookkeeping, monthly closes, and client data management. You will help ensure accurate records and timely deliverables for small business clients.

Work in a collaborative CAS team while also handling independent projects to meet strict deadlines and provide quality client service. Proficiency in Excel and cloud accounting tools like QuickBooks Online or Xero is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of general bookkeeping or accounting support experience.
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Excel and cloud-based accounting software; paperless office exposure.
• Strong organizational skills and clear written/verbal communication; San Antonio area.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable; handle bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Support monthly closes and client data management for the CAS team.
• Organize clients' source documents and track engagement deadlines.
• Communicate with clients and manage financial portal navigation.
