Job summary

CAS is currently seeking Technology Interns for Summer 2026. These positions will be located in our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. The Internship will run from May 17th, 2027, to August 6th, 2027.

Our Summer Intern Program aims to foster engagement and learning through immersion into our working environment with professional teams, exposing interns to state-of-the-art technologies and practices while expanding their professional network across CAS staff and fellow interns.

Qualifications

• Pursuing IT-related degree (CS, IS, data analytics, or engineering).
• Some experience with networking, Cisco/Arista, Linux, or cloud platforms.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership; able to work in agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Enable networking for applications, services, and systems with on-prem team.
• Maintain operational success of onsite Data Center using current tech and AI.
• Gain hands-on experience with AI tooling for hardware and networking tasks.
• Collaborate with teammates to groom backlogs of epics and stories for changes.
• Build relationships across the Summer Intern Program for future opportunities.
• Stay updated on technology trends through training opportunities.

Position Summary:

Participants will benefit from exposure to a variety of state-of-the-arc technologies and practices, while also expanding their professional network with CAS staff and fellow interns. These connections offer valuable insights into potential career opportunities.

Job Accountabilities:

• Enable networking for applications, services, and systems with an on-prem team, supporting CAS products, content pipelines, and business solutions.
• Ensure continued operational success of our onsite Data Center using current technology, ai techniques, and best practices.
• Gain hands-on, practical experience while using ai tooling to accomplish hardware and networking tasks.
• Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to groom backlogs of epics and stories for upcoming change.
• Connect across the organization through the Summer Intern Program to build influential working relationships, preparing your career for tomorrow.
• Stay abreast of the latest technology trends through individual and team training opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a degree in the Information Technology field or a related discipline (like Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or Computer Engineering)
• Some experience with ANY of the following is preferred: Networking, Cisco, Arista, Linux, programming or scripting languages or platforms, Cloud (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack), System Administration
• Strong communication skills, teaming skills, leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively on a team in an open, agile tech environment, as well as independently
