Job summary

IKEA Conshohocken is seeking a Retail Carts Co-worker to ensure an enjoyable shopping experience by loading/unloading carts, keeping the loading zone clean, and assisting customers with cart-related needs.

You will keep shopping tools stocked, monitor conditions, and support in areas like FS HO, exchanges & returns, and Click & Collect, while helping to create a positive customer experience and upholding IKEA's inclusive culture. This is a full-time position with an hourly pay rate of $17.50.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient car loading and unloading services while keeping the loading zone clean by clearing away straps, excess carts, and cardboard.
• Ensure that all physical shopping tools, including carts, pencils, yellow bags, maps, and twine, are adequately stocked and maintained throughout the store during business hours.
• Ensure physical shopping tools are filled at closing.
• Monitor the condition of physical and digital shopping tools, report any IT issues, and remove any physical stands or tools that are unsafe.
• Address customer needs, resolve issues independently, escalated matters to a manager when needed.
• Support in other customer service areas such as Full Serve Hand Out (FSHO), Exchanges & Returns, Click & Collect as needed.
• When supporting in Full Serve Hand Out (FSHO), provide customers with a simple and efficient handout experience.
• When supporting in Returns, ensure products and equipment are properly staged.
• When supporting Click & Collect, create a positive customer experience by ensuring accurate order handoff.

The hourly pay rate for this role is $17.50

HOURS –34-40 hours per week. Retail environment, must have availability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
