Meijer Great Lakes is seeking entry-level team members to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks, including customer service, store operations, and general housekeeping. This role focuses on delivering exceptional service and supporting daily store activities to keep the shopping experience smooth and efficient.

As a cart attendant and floor team member, you will interact with customers, handle basic store operations, and collaborate with multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling products or equipment.

Responsabilités

• Cart attendants transport shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Assist with parking lot, trash collection, and store cleanup tasks.
• Operate snow removal equipment to clear walkways when needed.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Support service desk, entrances, lanes, and parking areas.
• Coordinate with departments across the store.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
