Job summary

ShopRite Patchogue is seeking a CSA/Carts Clerk in Patchogue, NY to deliver a great customer experience delivering fast, friendly service and assisting customers with groceries. You will collect carts from the parking lot and return them to their proper place, greet customers, and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to stand/walk for long shifts.
• Must regularly lift 25 lbs. and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, helpful way.
• Work cooperatively with others and adhere to schedules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized shopping environment.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous assistance.
• Collect empty carts and return them to their place.
• Handle damaged items per store policy and monitor perishables.
• Perform duties in line with safety and QA standards.
• Dress per policy and maintain punctual attendance.
• Work overtime as assigned.
