Job summary

ShopRite ShopRite of Buonadonna LLC in Bay Shore, NY is seeking a CSA/Carts Clerk to deliver friendly, efficient service and manage cart retrieval for customers. The role requires standing for long shifts, lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, and abiding by company policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, maintaining a clean store area, and assisting shoppers with groceries as needed. This is a full-time on-site position with regular attendance expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze and understand English.
• Must stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Regularly lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way.
• Cooperate with others and follow attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe work/shopping environment.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Collect empty carts and return them to proper locations.
• Assist customers with groceries as required.
• Handle damaged or return-to-stock products per policy.
• Perform duties in compliance with safety and QA standards.
