Job summary

lrsrecycles is seeking a Container Delivery Driver in Indianapolis to deliver and remove waste or recycling carts and bins to customers. This role requires physical effort and safe operation of the vehicle, with hours and demands varying by route.

Responsibilities include pre-trip/post-trip inspections, documenting deliveries, maintaining logs, and interacting professionally with customers. Overtime and weekend work may be required; strong map-reading and communication skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical exertion (lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling carts).
• Ability to read and understand a map.
• Able to drive a truck with a manual transmission.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck and perform duties safely according to regulations and policies.
• Perform delivery and/or removal of waste or recycling carts and/or bins to customers.
• Complete proper documentation on deliveries and removals.
• Maintain and update work orders.
• Conduct pre-trip/post trip inspections and complete logs.
• Maintain and update drivers log sheets.
• Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
• May assist in other projects and areas as needed.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere and good relationships with customers and coworkers.
• Other duties, as assigned.
