Job summary

Meijer Great Lakes is seeking an entry-level Cart Attendant to support store operations and help keep the shopping experience smooth. You will shuttle carts, assist customers, and coordinate with various store areas throughout the day.

This role focuses on teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail in a fast-paced retail environment. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth and access to the Meijer Rewards benefits.

Qualifications

• Highly-organized with a keen sense for details.
• Strong listening and communication abilities.
• Able to lift/carry/push/pull and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
