Job summary

Meijer is hiring an entry-level Courtesy Team Member to support store operations in Michigan. You will ferry shopping carts, assist in parking lot maintenance, and handle basic cleaning and customer service tasks.

Responsibilities

• Transport shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Maintain parking lot, lawn care, and store trash collection.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment during winter.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Collaborate with service desk, entrances, check lanes and parking areas.
• Coordinate with multiple departments across the store.
• Note: may perform additional duties as assigned.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
