Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level team member to support retail operations. You will ferry carts, assist with trash removal in the parking lot and store, and help with snow removal as seasons require.

You will interact with customers and colleagues to deliver above-and-beyond service across multiple store areas. The role offers weekly pay, scheduling flexibility, and opportunities for growth within a family-oriented retailer serving several states.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside the store to inside.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment to remove snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments such as Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
