Job summary

Meijer Rewards in Michigan is seeking entry-level cart attendants to keep our store organized and welcoming. You will help with carts, trash, cleaning, and coordinating with service desks while delivering friendly customer service.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect trash from the parking lot, lawn, and store areas.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment when needed.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desk, store entrances, check lanes and parking areas.
• Collaborate with departments across the store.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
