Job summary

ShopRite of Northvale in Northvale, NJ is hiring a CSA/Carts Clerk. You will deliver friendly, efficient service, collect carts, assist customers, and maintain a clean store environment.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, stand for long periods, and work flexible hours in a fast-paced retail setting. Candidates must be able to read and speak English, follow safety rules, and interact positively with customers.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to stand/walk for entire shift.
• Able to lift 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Able to tolerate dust and cleaning agents.
• Able to interact with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Able to work cooperatively with others.
• Able to work all assigned schedules and follow attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a great customer experience with accurate, friendly service.
• Assist customers with groceries and collect/return shopping carts.
• Maintain a clean, neat, safe work environment and greet customers.
• Check prices and locate items, report equipment issues.
• Follow all store policies and safety regulations; wear uniform and name badge.
