Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level team member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks across our store and customer service operations.

You will interact with customers, support service desks, and collaborate with departments to ensure a clean, safe shopping environment while delivering above-and-beyond service.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Can lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product or equipment.
• Able to shine in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside to the store.
• Coordinate and collect trash in the parking lot, lawn, and inside store.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment to clear snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
• May perform other duties as assigned or required.
