Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks related to services provided by our store, product, and customer service. Team members enjoy interacting with people and delivering exceptional service.

You will work across departments and support service desk, entrances, check lanes, and parking areas, contributing to a warm, customer-focused shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Highly-organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Can lift/carry/push/pull/bend/twist while handling products or equipment.
• Ability to shine in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect trash from parking lot, lawn, and inside store.
• Safely use snow removal equipment to remove snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking areas.
• Collaborate with departments across Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
