Job summary

Meijer is seeking entry-level team members to support a variety of retail tasks, including customer service, product handling, and store operations. This role offers exposure to multiple store departments and opportunities for growth within the Meijer family.

As a team member, you will assist guests, learn frontline processes, and contribute to a clean, organized store environment. Prior retail experience is not required, and Meijer Rewards highlights weekly pay and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Highly-organized with a keen sense for details.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product or using equipment.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
