Job summary

ShopRite of Edgewater Commons in Edgewater, NJ is seeking a CSA/Carts Clerk to deliver a friendly and efficient customer experience, collect carts from the parking lot, and assist customers with groceries as needed.

The role requires standing for long periods, the ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, and a team-oriented approach to daily store operations. This is an on-site position with flexible scheduling and safety-minded responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Regularly lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service.
• Work with others and adhere to schedules.

Responsibilities

• Greet Customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Collect empty shopping carts and return them to proper area.
• Assist customers with groceries as required.
• Handle damaged or return-to-stock items per policy.
• Maintain a clean, safe work/shopping environment.
• Follow safety and cleanliness standards.
