Job summary

Meijer in Wisconsin is seeking a cart attendant to support store operations by ferrying carts, collecting trash, and assisting with general housekeeping to keep the store clean and safe for customers.

Responsibilities

• Ferry shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn, and store trash.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment for snow removal.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desk, store entrances, check lanes, and parking areas.
• Collaborate with departments across the store.

We are seeking a team member with flexible availability, including weekends. Availability to work between 12:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. is preferred.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
