Meijer Inc. is seeking entry-level team members to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks across store operations.

You’ll contribute in areas such as cart attendant duties, parking lot coordination, trash removal, snow removal, basic store cleaning and assisting at the service desk and check lanes. Responsabilidades

• Attend to carts and ferry them from outside to inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect trash from parking lot, lawn, and store areas.
• Safely use snow removal equipment to clear snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Collaborate with service desk, entrances, check lanes and parking areas.
• Work with departments across Health & Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card & Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.

As an entry-level team member, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks related to additional services provided by our store, product and customer service.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
