Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level team member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks across store operations and customer service. You will assist with cart retrieval, trash collection, cleaning, and collaboration with multiple store departments.

This role offers exposure to six states' operations and benefits like education assistance and a team discount, with a focus on safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside store areas.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment to clear snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning tasks.
• Collaborate with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Work with departments across Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.

As an entry-level team member, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks related to additional services provided by our store, product and customer service.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
