Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to support a variety of retail tasks across our store. You will interact with customers, assist with services, and contribute to a clean, safe shopping environment.

You will gain exposure to multiple departments while developing practical retail skills, teamwork, and communication. This role emphasizes going above and beyond in customer service and supporting daily store operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull using equipment.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and keep areas clean and organized.
• Cart attendants bring carts from outside to the store interior.
• Help with parking lot, lawn and store trash collection.
• Assist with snow removal and safe operation of equipment.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Support service desk, entrances, check lanes and parking areas.
• Coordinate with departments across Health & Beauty, Hardware, Pets and more.

As an entry-level team member, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks related to additional services provided by our store, product and customer service. What You'll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
