Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks connected to store services, product handling, and customer service. Team members enjoy interacting with people and delivering above-and-beyond service in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside store areas.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment to clear snow when needed.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns according to policy.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning tasks.
• Assist service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments including Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
• This profile may include other duties as assigned or required.

What You'll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
