Job summary

LST Group LLC is seeking an energetic Carrier Sales Manager for our Columbia, SC branch to oversee day-to-day operations for high-volume hazmat shipments and demanding clients. You will grow carrier partnerships while delivering outstanding service and communication to customers.

Responsibilities include coordinating full shipment lifecycles, achieving on-time pickups and deliveries, and maintaining strong relationships with strategic carriers to support revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping hazmat freight and knowledge of related regulations.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive shipments.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Familiarity with transportation processes and logistics procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end shipment lifecycle from rate quotes to capacity.
• Provide excellent service for order needs, pickups, and delivery times.
• Monitor status, communicate updates, and resolve issues in transit.
• Develop and maintain long-term carrier partnerships to drive revenue.
• Collaborate with carriers to ensure capacity, compliance and performance.
• Offer tailored logistics solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA and hazmat requirements.
• Accurate data entry for orders, loads, and shipments in TMS.
