Priority1 is seeking a results-oriented Carrier Procurement professional in Little Rock, AR. You will build strong relationships with carrier partners, source truckload capacity, and negotiate rates to maximize profitability.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners nationwide.
• Source and secure truckload capacity to support customer shipping needs.
• Negotiate competitive carrier rates while maximizing profitability.
• Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and load boards to book and manage freight.
• Monitor shipments and provide proactive communication regarding updates, delays, and service issues.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure customer commitments are met.
• Analyze market conditions and carrier availability to identify capacity opportunities.
• Troubleshoot transportation challenges and develop creative solutions in real time.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and provide timely updates throughout the transportation lifecycle.
• Consistently meet activity and performance goals in a metrics-driven environment.
