Job summary

KCH Transportation is seeking a part-time Preferred Carrier Intern to join our billing team in the office. You will support the QuickPay program, process payments, verify banking details, and help onboard carriers while learning logistics operations in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates well, and eager to learn. This internship offers hands-on experience in carrier pay and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program.
• Preferably studying Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented office setting.
• Prior office experience or familiarity with billing or logistics systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to carrier inquiries in the QuickPay inbox.
• Audit PODs and supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Request missing documents from carriers or internal teams.
• Verify and enter ACH banking information for payment setup.
• Process payments according to QuickPay terms and deadlines.
• Assist carriers in understanding QuickPay eligibility and timelines.
• Help onboard new carriers into the QuickPay program.
• Conduct outreach to recruit new carriers and collaborate with teams.
