Job summary

Jw Logistics Operations is seeking a Carrier AP & Billing Specialist in Texas to accurately process carrier settlements and assist with customer billing, invoice preparation, submission, and reconciliation. You will work with the Carrier AP Manager, Billing team, Operations, carriers, and customers to ensure timely, accurate financial processing.

The role requires strong attention to detail, data analysis skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in accounts payable/receivable, billing or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve discrepancies.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, lookups, data analysis).
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable with large volumes of financial data.
• Independent yet cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, and process weekly carrier settlements with high accuracy.
• Import settlements into Microsoft Dynamics and verify processing.
• Monitor and resolve carrier disputes and balance dues.
• Assist with preparation and submission of customer invoices.
• Review billing data for accuracy and supporting docs.
• Support billing portals and handle rejected invoices.
• Use Excel to reconcile and analyze financial data.
• Support month-end activities and ensure confidentiality.
