Job summary

HNE in Pennsylvania seeks an Agency Carrier Relations & Distribution Manager to align agency growth with carrier strategy, optimize performance, and manage carrier relationships.

The role ensures market access for producers, translates carrier updates into actionable guidance for sales and service teams, and coordinates meetings and performance reviews.

Excellent knowledge of underwriting appetite, pricing trends, and regulatory developments is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college.
• 5+ years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance.
• Prior carrier-side Territory/Distribution experience.
• Strong knowledge of Personal Lines and Small Commercial P&C.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison for carrier territory representatives and leadership.
• Develop strategic relationships with carrier partners.
• Coordinate regular carrier meetings, reviews, and planning.
• Escalate underwriting, service, and operational issues.
• Translate carrier updates into guidance for sales and service teams.
• Lead internal training on new products and underwriting updates.
• Provide reporting on strategic risks and opportunities.
• Guide carrier placement strategy with leadership.
