YOUR ROLE

Working closely with the VP of Operations, the Manager of Carrier Partnerships will support carrier partnerships on the Bold Penguin platform to drive company growth and profitability. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, a proven track record in supporting successful partnerships, and industry knowledge including digital insurance platforms, agency distribution, operations, and the commercial insurance industry.

Responsibilities
  1. Support partners by presenting information, identifying issues, and recommending solutions; monitor issues through resolution.
  2. Analyze partnership performance against KPIs and provide updates to influence decision-making.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including partners, customers, and internal teams.
  4. Collaborate to define partnership goals and ensure alignment with company strategy.
  5. Assist in implementing partnership initiatives like marketing campaigns and product co-development.
  6. Develop relationships with new and existing partners, communicating Bold Penguin’s value proposition and opportunities.
  7. Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to inform strategies.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Location: Fully remote; must reside in eligible states (listed in application questionnaire).
  • States include FL, MA, OK, VA, GA, MI, PA, WI, IL, MO, SC, IN, NC, TN, KS, OH, TX.
  • Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing, or related; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years in relationship management, partnership/business development, with insurance industry experience, especially commercial lines.
  • Proven success in developing partnerships with agencies, MGAs, carriers, financial services, etc.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, analytical skills; understanding of digital insurance platforms and APIs.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Willing to travel as needed.
Physical Requirements
  • Sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods, up to 8 hours daily.
  • Use standard office equipment for extended periods.

The salary range is $78,300 to $122,260, competitive and based on experience.
