Job summary

Transforming Age’s Carriage Oaks in St. Charles, IL invites a seasoned Executive Director to lead operations, sales, and resident services for an independent living community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field.
• Two or more years of leadership experience in senior living.
• Strong sales and marketing experience in senior living.
• Experience with the senior population and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand and manage financial reporting for the community.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the Community and its staff.
• Supervise and guide Carriage Oaks community team members.
• Implement programs and services with Regional and Corporate staff.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Implement and execute a robust Sales and Marketing plan to drive census.
• Direct the management team to meet financial and budgetary objectives.
• Oversee marketing and sales activities and results.
• Operate Carriage Oaks in accordance with company policies and ensure safety.

Our Executive Director:

• Provides leadership for the Community and its staff.
• Supervises and guides Carriage Oaks community team members.
• Implements programs and services for residents that are developed in tandem with Regional and Corporate staff members.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards.
• Implements and executes a robust Sales and Marketing plan to drive census.
• Directs the management team to ensure the success of the Community including the following:
• Works with residents, family and responsible parties to achieve a high level of satisfaction.
• Maintains a positive relationship with the professional community.
• Facilitates open communication with staff and peers.
• Maintains confidentiality of employee and resident records as appropriate.
• Leads all areas of operations meeting all financial and budgetary objectives.
• Maintains oversight of all marketing and sales activities and results.
• Operates Carriage Oaks in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures and ensure the safety and security of residents and staff.
• Oversees implementation of OSHA and Safety guidelines.
• Works with a not-for-profit board of directors.
• Promotes the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed:

• B.S. in healthcare or related subjects or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Two or more years of experience in a leadership capacity in a senior living industry.
• Excellent Sales and Marketing Senior Living industry experience.
• Experience and knowledge dealing with senior population
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to understand and administer the financial reporting and requirements of the Community.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Physical Requirements:

• May occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50lbs.
