Job summary

Mohawk Industries, Inc. seeks a Creeler to load and manage yarn for tufting machines that produce carpet. You will maintain yarn supply, ensure correct lot numbers, and assist with backing changes, while following safety and housekeeping procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to pass a color blind test.
• Interpersonal, manual dexterity, mechanical, math and judgement skills are essential.
• Carpet mechanical skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and hang cones of yarn on creels to feed the tufting machine.
• Maintain yarn supply and ensure correct lot numbers are used.
• Move yarn to buggies and hang on creel racks; assist with backing changes.
• Follow safety rules and housekeeping procedures.
