Job summary

Voda Cleaning & Restoration in Clover, SC is seeking qualified Cleaning & Restoration Technicians for residential and commercial projects. The role covers carpet and floor cleaning, water damage restoration, mold mitigation, and related services.

Compensation includes bonus based on performance, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement. Candidates should have a high school diploma, basic math and computer skills, and prefer IICRC certifications.

Qualifications

• Adequate math skills to determine equipment type and units.
• Basic computer skills to report daily activity.
• 1 year of floor cleaning experience preferred or related specialty cleaning.
• IICRC certificates are highly desired.
• CCT certification preferred, but not required.
• Career path includes WRT, AMRT, ASD, MRS, FSRT.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpet and floor cleaning and restoration services; opportunities to earn mold mitigation and water/fire certifications.
• Complete cleaning and restoration documentation.
• Communicate effectively with customers.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Inspect completed work and maintain work orders.
• Maintain tools, materials, and inventory for company vehicles.
• Willing to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology.

Cleaning & Restoration Technician Qualifications And Experience

• Education and Experience: High school diploma (or GED).
• Mathematical Skills: Adequate math skills. Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units.
• Computer Skills: Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity.
• 1 year of floor cleaning experience preferred, and/or some form of specialty cleaning (i.e. Stripping & Waxing Commercial Space Flooring, Air Duct Cleaning, Tile and Grout Cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning, etc.)
• Highly Desired Certificates from Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC)
• Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT)* preferred, but not required

Cleaning & Restoration Technician Job Summary

Assist in gaining and retaining customers by fulfilling the company’s obligations through the timely and effective delivery of residential and commercial cleaning and restoration services.

Cleaning & Restoration TechnicianResponsibilities

• Effectively perform Carpet & Floor Cleaning and Restoration services the company offers (Opportunities exist to earn Mold Mitigation; Fire & Water Damage Restoration certifications and experience quickly). (Note: Compensation levels will reflect the experience level of the technician. Hourly rate increases as experience and certifications are gained in water mitigation, mold, trauma scene, and asbestos certifications are added. Commissions are possible on top of hourly rate)
• Complete appropriate cleaning and restoration documentation and authorizations.
• Communicate effectively with customers.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect completed work.
• Complete the technician’s daily log.
• Complete Work Orders.
• Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.
• Maintain inventory of related supplies.
• Willing to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry.
• Willing to hold self and others accountable for maintaining company standards.
