Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Carpet & Floor Technician for The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center in Roanoke, Virginia. You will maintain carpets, hard-surface floors, and public spaces, using extractors, buffers, scrubbers, and burnishers to keep a historic property pristine.

Schedule typically 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., five days a week with varying days off; weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Previous carpet and floor care experience.
• Experience operating floor care equipment such as extractors, buffers, scrubbers, burnishers.
• Ability to lift, move, and transport cleaning equipment.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain carpets, hard-surface flooring, and public spaces while safely operating specialized machines and tools.
• Work throughout the historic Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center in Roanoke, VA to ensure cleanliness and presentation.

The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center is seeking an energetic Carpet & Floor Technician to join our team in Roanoke, Virginia. Schedule: Typically, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., five days out of seven, with varying days off each week. Based on business and project needs, shifts may vary. Weekend and holiday availability is required. Previous carpet and floor care experience is required for this position. If you have experience maintaining carpets and hard-surface floors, this could be the perfect fit. Your expertise will help create beautiful, welcoming spaces for our guests every day. You’ll work throughout our historic hotel, maintaining carpets, hard-surface flooring, and public spaces while safely operating specialized machines and tools.

Required Qualifications

• Previous carpet and floor care experience
• Experience operating floor care equipment such as extractors, buffers, scrubbers, burnishers, and related cleaning equipment
• Ability to safely lift, move, and transport cleaning equipment and supplies
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business and project needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Hotel housekeeping, hospitality, healthcare, education, or commercial facilities experience
• Experience maintaining carpet, tile, stone, vinyl, and other hard-surface flooring

Compensation:

$16.00 - $19.00
