Voda Cleaning & Restoration of Greater Houston – North is a locally owned cleaning and restoration company serving areas north and northeast of Houston. We provide carpet, tile/grout, upholstery, hardwood/laminate floor, and HVAC duct cleaning, as well as water damage restoration, mold remediation, and odor mitigation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of carpet, tile/grout, upholstery, and hardwood cleaning experience.
• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Driver license in good standing.
• Basic computer skills to report daily activity.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment safety and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpet and floor cleaning and restoration across service areas.
• Complete cleaning documentation and work authorizations.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Perform basic equipment and vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect completed work and maintain supplies.
• Keep tools organized and stock up as needed.
• Learn new equipment and technologies.
• Willing to work occasional night/weekend shifts.

Cleaning And Restoration Technician Job Summary

Provide professional and specialized service related to cleaning of carpets, tile/grout, other flooring systems, upholstery and HVAC ducts as well as assist in water restoration and mold remediation services.

Cleaning And Restoration Technician Qualifications And Experience

• >2 Years of Carpet, Tile/Grout, Upholstery, Hardwood cleaning experience, using truckmounted systems
• Education and Experience: High school diploma (or GED).
• Driver License in good standing
• Computer Skills: Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity. Capable of quickly learning to use company software systems.
• Technical Skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate cleaning and restoration equipment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, company procedures, and industry standards.
  • Knowledge of water damage restoration, mold remediation, carpet cleaning, HVAC duct cleaning, and related services is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Personal Characteristics
  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct.

Cleaning Technician Responsibilities

• Effectively perform Carpet & Floor Cleaning and Restoration services the company offers (Opportunities exist to earn Mold Mitigation; Fire & Water Damage Restoration experience and certifications quickly).
• Complete appropriate cleaning and restoration documentation and authorizations.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with customers.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect completed work.
• Complete the technician’s daily log.
• Complete Work Orders.
• Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.
• Maintain inventory of related supplies.
• Willing to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry.
• Willing to hold self and others accountable for maintaining company standards.
• Willing to work the occasional night/weekend shift

• IICRC Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT)*
• NADCA Certification
• TDLR Mold Remediation Worker
• Other desired IICRC Certifications: SMT, WRT, ASD, AMRT, OCT, FSRT
