Voda Cleaning & Restoration of Greater Houston – North is seeking a Cleaning and Restoration Technician to perform carpet, tile/grout, upholstery, and hardwood cleaning, and assist in water damage restoration projects. The role requires experience with truckmounted systems, a valid driver's license, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of carpet, tile/grout, upholstery, hardwood cleaning experience using truckmounted systems.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Driver license in good standing.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use company software.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpet and floor cleaning and restoration services; opportunities to earn mold mitigation and fire/water restoration certifications.
• Complete cleaning and restoration documentation and authorizations.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect completed work.
• Maintain technician daily log and work orders.
• Maintain tools, materials, and vehicle appearance and stock.
• Maintain inventory of related supplies.
• Willing to learn new equipment and technology.
• Uphold company standards and accountability.
• Work occasional night or weekend shifts.

Cleaning and Restoration Technician Job Summary

Provide professional and specialized service related to cleaning of carpets, tile/grout, other flooring systems, upholstery and HVAC ducts as well as assist in water restoration and mold remediation services.

Cleaning and Restoration Technician Qualifications and Experience

• >2 Years of Carpet, Tile/Grout, Upholstery, Hardwood cleaning experience, using truckmounted systems
• Education and Experience: High school diploma (or GED).
• Driver License in good standing
• Computer Skills: Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity. Capable of quickly learning to use company software systems.
• Technical Skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate cleaning and restoration equipment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, company procedures, and industry standards.
  • Knowledge of water damage restoration, mold remediation, carpet cleaning, HVAC duct cleaning, and related services is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Cleaning Technician Responsibilities

• Effectively perform Carpet & Floor Cleaning and Restoration services the company offers (Opportunities exist to earn Mold Mitigation; Fire & Water Damage Restoration experience and certifications quickly).
• Complete appropriate cleaning and restoration documentation and authorizations.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with customers.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect completed work.
• Complete the technician’s daily log.
• Complete Work Orders.
• Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.
• Maintain inventory of related supplies.
• Willing to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry.
• Willing to hold self and others accountable for maintaining company standards.
• Willing to work the occasional night/weekend shift

• NADCA Certification
