Job summary

West Shore Home is seeking a Carpenter Trainee in Nashville, TN. The role supports safe, high-quality installations of windows and exterior doors, following SOPs and PPE.

You will travel to customer homes, greet clients, and ensure a 5-star experience while maintaining the customer’s home clean and intact. The position requires basic carpentry experience or eagerness to learn, tool knowledge, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, construction – or a hunger to learn!
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Must have a valid smart phone or smart device to log into required systems using two-factor authentication

Responsibilities

• Arrive at warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks
• Travel to customer’s home, greet them, and establish rapport
• Remove existing window/door space, install replacement windows and exterior doors, and replace trim
• Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to warehouse
